Love was in the air recently at Broomall as two residents and their significant others renewed wedding vows at the community.

Compassion is a trademark on display every day throughout all of Presby’s communities.

But recently at Broomall, compassion was featured in a very unique way as the community played host to wedding vow renewal ceremonies for two residents and their significant others – Al and Mary Storz and Marie and Ed Helmig.

Al and Mary have been married for 55 years. Marie and Ed have been married for 57 years.

The ceremonies, administered by new Broomall Chaplain Rev. Kathy Hecht, were attended by several members of the Broomall community who watched and cheered for their fellow residents. Afterward, all were invited to celebrate along with couples. A party was held that included a DJ spinning wedding favorites and a photo booth for the residents to enjoy. Broomall’s culinary team even whipped up special sets of treats and cakes for the celebration.

Presby would like to congratulate both couples on this exceptional occasion and we wish them both many more years of happiness!
