Cantrell Place and Witherspoon Senior Apartments to hold first community meetings
April 13, 2018
Presby’s two newest Affordable Housing communities, slated to open this fall in South Philadelphia and Southwest Philadelphia, respectively, are giving potential residents the opportunity to meet team members and gather more information.
The excitement continues to grow as South Philadelphia’s Cantrell Place (located at 427-455 Cantrell Street) and Southwest Philadelphia’s Witherspoon Senior Apartments (located at 2050 58th Street), Presby’s Inspired Life’s two newest Affordable Housing communities, near their official grand openings this coming fall.
As construction ensues on the communities for adults age 62 and better, Presby will hold informational meetings for potential residents of both Cantrell Place and Witherspoon Senior Apartments right in the heart of their respective neighborhoods.
Interested potential residents are encouraged to come out to meet Presby team members, ask questions and learn more information about the respective new Affordable Housing communities.
The first meeting for Cantrell Place will take place on Monday, April 16 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Jackson Place, another Presby Affordable Housing community at 501 Jackson Street in Philadelphia, just blocks away from the site of Cantrell Place.
The second meeting for Cantrell Place will take place on Monday, April 30 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at neighboring Mt. Enon Baptist Church at 500 Snyder Avenue in Philadelphia.
Cantrell Place, sponsored by Presby, will transform 33 blighted vacant lots into the 61 new Affordable Housing units. The project has been in development since 2011.
