Presby honors 5 inspiring women during record-setting 10th Anniversary of Inspired Service Recognition Dinner

A record-setting crowd of friends, team members, benefactors, sponsors and honorees gathered at the Hilton City Avenue in Philadelphia on Thursday evening as Presby’s Inspired Life celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Inspired Service Recognition Dinner.
This year, five inspiring women were honored for their for their civic leadership and works of charity that make an impact throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
After a cocktail hour, performance by the Presby “Voices of Inspiration” choir and dinner, Philadelphia Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell, William Penn Foundation Chairwoman Dr. Janet Haas, Faith in the Future CEO Irene Horstmann Hannan, former 6ABC anchorwoman Lisa Thomas-Laury and Enon Tabernacle Church First Lady Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller all graciously accepted this year’s honor.
“Each of these inspiring women have touched Presby’s Inspired Life in a special way,” Presby president and CEO Judee Bavaria said to the audience that had packed the ballroom. “We are thrilled to recognize each of you, exceptional leaders across the region who direct your faith, talents and compassionate spirit to empower others.”
The Inspired Service Recognition Dinner is the signature event on Presby’s Inspired Life’s calendar. This year’s event was made possible by the generosity of over 50 sponsors.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gifts of Grace fund, which upholds the delivery of exceptional experiences across our almost 40 Affordable Housing and Market-Rate communities.
